OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2011. In this year the railway of Ukraine has transported 150.935 thousand children-orphans and children-invalids.

In particular, a possibility to travel thus have taken advantage 87.4 thousand children-orphans (last year 89.5 thousand) and 62.3 thousand children-invalids (last year 58.5 thousand), 1.235 thousand children of the lost miners, military personnel and railwaymen (last year 0.4 thousand).

As a whole the action on free transportation of children Ukrzaliznytsia has began in 2000 year. Children in the age of till 16 years concerning to categories of children-orphans and children which have remained without care of parents; children-invalids of all categories; children of military personnel and workers of the law enforcement bodies which have lost on duty; children of the lost miners and railwaymen can take advantage of this service.
