OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2011. Moldova’s Ministry of Economy informed about a false collection of personal data from large companies’ managers on behalf of the Ministry. The information according to which imaginary representatives of the Ministry ask large companies to provide them with numbers of directors’ mobile phones was received another day, reports the Ministry of Economy’s press service.

The Ministry declared that requests for provision of such personal data is out of its competence and that it had never done something like that, as there is a worked out formula of communication with large companies through the chancellery or secretariat of companies.

The Ministry of Economy recommended companies’ representatives to be prudent to avoid being a part of such fraud or provocations.
