OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2011. Recently Alchevsk, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Nikopol and Yevpatoria have been connected to the "Home Internet" network from Kyivstar. Now the high-speed Internet network based on the FTTB (fiber to building) technology is in operation in 55 cities of Ukraine.

The broadband "Home Internet" network from "Kyivstar" is permanently growing. Not so long ago the company completed the construction of fiber-optic communication lines in four more cities such as Alchevsk, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Yevpatoria and Nikopol. Now the residents of more than 340 apartment multistorey houses in these cities can be connected to the broadband Internet from Kyivstar and use the services of access to the world wide web with ultrafast speed.

The residents of 55 cities of Ukraine are already capable of taking advantage of the opportunities offered by high-speed Internet based on the FTTB technology developed by Kyivstar. The private Kyivstar clients receive a package of telecom services such as unlimited fixed Internet and mobile communications. All monthly user’s fee for the "Home Internet" is counted against the client’s payment for mobile communications. The price for unlimited "Home Internet" in package with the mobile communications starts from 55 UAH subject to the required access speed.

Today the broadband Kyivstar Internet services are available for the residents of 2 mln 900 thousand apartments in 28 thousand houses in 55 cities of Ukraine.
