OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2011. For Jan-Jun 2011 Azerbaijan increased its agricultural exports by 57.85% against its fall by 20.1% in 2010.

The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan reports that export of vegetables and fruits from the country totaled USD 84.849 million for Jan-Jun of the year against USD 53.7 million for Jan-Jun 2010. By 1 July 2011 it reached, however, only 0.65% of country’s total exports against 0.73% following the results of 2010. In June 2011 vegetables and fruits for USD 45.06 million (record index in country’s history) were exported from the country.

Export of fruits and vegetables was USD 1.555 bn in 2010 and USD 192.55 million in 2009.
