OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2011. VTB Bank, CJSC VTB Debt Centre, VTB Pensions administrator LLC, the Bank of Moscow and the state corporation Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) have signed a General Agreement stipulating the procedure and the terms of interaction between the parties for the purpose of implementation of the package of measures aimed to deal with the problem loans of the Bank of Moscow.

Under this General Agreement, CJSC VTB Debt Centre and VTB Pensions administrator LLC, acting as investors, undertake to effect an increase of the capital of the Bank of Moscow, as well as elaborate a comprehensive plan on problem loans management.

Following the consolidation of the shares of the Bank of Moscow to the extent necessary to make decisions on behalf of the Bank on the issues in competence of the shareholders’ general meeting, DIA will provide financial assistance to the Bank of Moscow. These funds will be used to implement the plan on problem loans management within the referred credit organisation.
