OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2011. The leader of the Russian automotive industry KAMAZ won a poll organized by RBC news agency last week.

The website www.rbc.ru published the final results of the survey conducted on July 8-11. Answering a multiple-choice question "Which one of these automobile plants do you consider the best representative of the Russian car industry?", visitors of the website most often chose KAMAZ. In all, 15,947 people participated in the poll.

The advantage of the Russian truck producer was unconditional, 5,195 people (40.8%) gave preference to it. The second place is taken by AVTOVAZ – 3,757 (29.5%), followed by GAZ – 1,393 (10.9%), plants assembling foreign-branded cars – 1,035 (8.1%), AMO ZIL – 769 (6.0%). 3,150 people (24.7%) chose an option "None of them".

It should be recalled that the Vedomosti business daily has recently announced the results of a voting among Facebook users: KAMAZ is among top twenty "Your favorite companies", ranking fifteenth and being the only representative of the domestic automotive industry in the published rating.
