OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2011. Total 11 high technological projects and 13 high-level talents have been introduced to Anhui by a program named "HOME", abbreviation for "Help Our Motherland through Elite Intellectual Resources from Overseas" since 2009.

The program, sponsored by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), is aimed to attract intellectual elites outside China to start career in the country, through cooperation and communication with overseas non-government technological associations.

Since the implementation of the program in May.2009, Anhui has reached 43 overseas technological associations and 761 talents, which led to 11 high-tech projects and 13 intellectual elites to settle in the province.
