CNPC, ADNOC Sign Heads of Agreement on Crude Oil
OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2011. With a total investment of RMB 142.2 billion, the project includes one trunk line and eight branches which travel 8,704 kilometers through 15 provinces and regions from Xinjiang's Horgos to Shanghai in the east, and to the south reaches at Guangzhou and Hong Kong. The pipeline is designed to deliver 30 billion cubic meters of gas per annum, for 30 years, reported the press-centre of CNPC.
Under the new agreement, from 2014, ADNOC will provide additional quantities of crude oil to CNPC from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The new agreement will be effective for 20 years renewable on annual basis according to the quantity and quality of the crude oil agreed upon between the two parties.
