OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2011. One of the most important European payment service providers in the world – German bank Deutsche Bank has awarded Ukio bankas with 2010 EUR STP Excellence Award. This award has been granted to Ukio bankas for excellent execution of European payments for the second year in a row, reported the press-centre of Ukio Bankas.

STP Excellence Award of the biggest bank of Germany is granted every year to several banks that achieve the best results for international payment preparation.

„This rating of the bank proves to our clients in Lithuania and abroad that their international payments are executed ensuring speed and high quality. Efficient payment data verification is performed at Ukio bankas and in case of transfer inaccuracies, the clients are informed and advised in the fast and accurate manner. Regularly improved payment preparation work allows to maintain money transfer system effectively coordinated. It is caused by the fact that the customers’ assets in the euros are transferred within the shortest time with the lowest mistake possibility”, said Sarunas Kraujalis, Director of Ukio bankas International Payment Department.

According to him, since Lithuania aims to become a member of Euro zone more European payments will be executed by SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) transfers. Currently, SEPA transfers at Ukio bankas amount to almost one third European payments.
