OREANDA-NEWS. July 21, 2011. "MEGABANK" PJSC has sum up the results of work of corporate business in the first quarter 2011. The total amount of opened in "MEGABANK" PJSC for 6 months current accounts of economic entities  more than doubled over the same period last year: in whole 1.5 thousand current accounts have been opened during the first six months 2011, reported the press-centre of MEGABANK.

In addition it is worth to notice the increase of activity of economic entities in all spheres of the bank’s corporate business activity. Thus, turnover on corporate clients’ accounts in UAH has increased more than one and a half for the first six months of 2011 and on average made more than UAH 2.2 billion per year that is 62% more than the same period last year. This increase is conditioned by enlargement of base of customers and also activation of bank clients’ work on the opened accounts.

Also, it has increased almost half as large again the activity of bank’s corporate clients on accounts which are carried out international settlements. The average turnover on the accounts of business entities in foreign currency by export-import transactions amounted to more than UAH 284 million per month, which is almost by 60% more than the same period last year. Turnover of export operations increased by 3% and averaged about UAH 140 million per month, which is 20% more than in the first half of last year, and on import operations - more than doubled and averaged more than UAH 145 million per month, that is twice as in the same period last year.
