OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2011. This June Azerbaijan observed another rise in the import of automobiles.

The State Customs Committee (SCC) informs that in June, according to customs paying-in slips, it was imported 2218 cars for USD 21.987 million against 2.088 cars for USD 20.292 million in May, 1909 cars for USD 20.854 million in April,1.791 cars for USD 17.29 million in March, 1,572 cars for USD 13.1 million in February and 1,517 cars for USD 11.928 million in January. Over Jan-June 2011 it was imported 11095 cars for USD  105.493 million. The data on imports of cargo customs entries was not brought.

The SCC also claimed that for Jan-June of the year imports of motor vehicles and spare parts for them amounted to USD 704.16 million that was 1.75 fold more versus their imports for Jan-June 2010 (USD 401.663 million).
