OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2011. Over the week from 16 May to 22 May 2011 the Lviv Kyivstar branch fixed a high figure of the generated traffic — 1 billion minutes. This amount became the highest operator’s result.

Since 2005 "Kyivstar" has conducted a weekly monitoring of the network loading by all its branches. Recently the operator has overcome the maximum traffic line — 1 billion minutes. This amount was fixed based on the results of the week between 16 May and 22 May 2011 by the Lviv company branch. The "check for durability" the Kyivstar network has passed successfully: no failures were registered. Besides, only in the first quarter of 2011 Kyivstar invested almost 370 million UAH all over Ukraine in the development of its network.

The Kyivstar network loading has grown permanently. Such a big voice activity of the subscribers is explained by the optimal rate conditions. It is exactly for control of the network’s operation that weekly monitoring has been put in place. The base stations loading data and cell operational quality parameters are monitored by the Technical Directorate employees with a special system.
