OREANDA-NEWS. TNK-BP informs that the Second Forum of Suppliers and Contractors is postponed to September 15, 2011 according to requests from its participants, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

The Forum will be participated by the suppliers and contractors of TNK-BP that took part in the questionnaire survey between July 7 and August 22 on the official website of the company at www.tnk-bp.ru.

The First Forum of Suppliers and Contractors of TNK-BP was held in September 2010. The results of this forum were used for developing a mechanism for handling and solving contracting issues. Councils for interaction with contractors were created in the key regions of company presence. Special conflict resolution commissions have handled 31 issues and resolved approximately 50% of them in favor of applicants.

The Forum of Suppliers and Contractors of TNK-BP is a highly efficient key mechanism for building up and maintaining a direct dialog between the company and its partners, improving the quality of contracting, explaining to contractors the principles and practice of interaction, detecting violations of these principles and rules, and preventing them.
