OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2011. Estonian Air will increase the flight frequency between Tallinn and Kiev to six flights per week from 5 September 2011, by adding Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday flights. At present Estonian Air is operating between Tallinn and Kiev three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

“In recent months the amount of Estonian Air’s passengers in Tallinn has increased significantly. Therefore we are adding flights to destinations with growing demand,” says Rauno Parras, Vice President Commercial of Estonian Air.

Estonian Air serves the route between Tallinn and Kiev under a code-share agreement with Aerosvit Airlines, which offers good connecting flights from Kiev to many Ukrainian holiday destinations, such as Odessa, Simferopol and others.

“By adding flights on Tallinn-Kiev route we can grow the transit traffic between our Scandinavian and Eastern destinations,” added Parras.
