OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2011. Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 11% on the year in January-June 2011, an official with Belarus’ National Statistics Committee told reporters.

Industrial output in January-June increased 11.5% on the year to 116.687 trillion rubles.

Farm output rose 1.1% to 13.357 trillion rubles.

In 2010, Belarus’ GDP grew 7.6% on the year to 163 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 161.9 trillion rubles, up 11.3% on the year. Farm output increased 2% to 30.8 trillion rubles.
