OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2011. Chinese ferromolybdenum producer Linghai Hengtai plans to increase its ferromolybdenum output by 50% to 6,000 mt in 2011 from 4,000 mt produced in 2010, a company source said.

The private company owns a ferromolybdenum factory in Liaoning province's Linghai city, which produced around 4,000 mt of ferromolybdenum of 60% purity in 2010. Most of it was sold to local steelmakers on contract basis.

The ferromolybdenum producer also exports Western-origin (57% purity) moly oxide to European markets.
