The Banker: NOMOS Is One of Fast-Growing Banks Worldwide
OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2011. NOMOS BANK (LSE, RTS, MICEX: NMOS), the 2nd largest privately-owned universal banking group in Russia and the 8th largest banking group in Russia by assets, was ranked among the fastest growing financial and credit institutions worldwide by The Banker. Over the last year, NOMOS made significant progress in The Banker’s Top 1000 World Banks, reported the press-centre of NOMOS BANK.
NOMOS BANK was ranked 358th by Tier 1 Capital jumped 100 spots, which increased by 56 % to USD 1.9 bn in 2010. NOMOS showed the strong second position between the banks of CEE by the Tier 1 capital growth.
NOMOS has also moved from 15th to 13th place in the ranking of the largest financial and credit institutions in CEE.
NOMOS BANK was ranked 10th in terms of annual asset growth. Within 2010, its assets grew by 90 % to USD 17.4 bn.
Strong dynamics of NOMOS BANK’s key performance indicators was determined both by organic and nonorganic growth of the bank.
