OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2011. To five opened vacancies within the paid Internship program of DnB NORD Banka have applied 178 young people. The best candidates in June have started working in five departments of DnB NORD Banka, reported the press-centre of DnB NORD Banka.

Goal of the Internship program is attraction of promising young specialists educated in finances or business management. If proven qualified, enterprising and eager to develop further in banking, to the trainees will be offered regular employment at DnB NORD Banka.

The interest in the Internship program was considerable. Over just few weeks were submitted 178 applications, and close to one third of all candidates were asked to the first round of interviews.

"53 young people participated in group activities to demonstrate their skills and abilities as well as model various role plays and analyze situations from everyday banking practice. The candidates were very witty and proposed a lot of innovative solutions that might be implemented into practice," explains the Head of Human Resources of DnB NORD Banka Irena Leonenko.

Paid internship vacancies in DnB NORD Banka were offered to five candidates who over the next two to three months will have a chance to replenish their existing knowledge, master new skills and extend the outlook in DnB NORD Banka, i.e. Corporate Banking Department, Credit Risk Analysis Department, Sales Management Department, Product Development Department as well as Operation Department. 

"This is our first experience in creating paid training vacancies in DnB NORD Banka; however, the commenced program will be continued. For rookies it means a great opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, whereas the bank gets a fresh view to established routines. By its Internship program DnB NORD Banka wants to provide new and talented students with an opportunity to establish their employment record," emphasizes the Head of Department of DnB NORD Banka Irena Leonenko.
