OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2011. Interactive television ZALA offers to its subscribers an information portal. This new solution allows you with the help of IPTV possibilities to view news, the weather information, and exchange rates, to make utility payments and other financial transactions directly on the TV screen. Information portal, presented in the test mode on the first stage and will be free of charge, reported the press-centre of Beltelecom.

There will be a new tab page in the electronic TV-guide of the IPTV ZALA on the TV screen, guided to the main page of the information portal. It is possible to see here the latest news of the company "Beltelecom", as well as sections "Weather", "Finance", "Help", "Payments", "Miscellaneous". Information on the weather, exchange rates is updated automatically – including the advent of new data in the primary sources of these sections. Under the section of "Miscellaneous" news of the information agency "BelTA" is broadcasted, as well as the numbers of reference information services of "Beltelecom" are indicated on the first stage.

Along with the opening of the portal TV-banking service will be launched, available via tab page "Payments". Thorough this service ZALA subscribers can use the payment function "via TV-set" – the same as in info kiosks. Thus a subscriber gets access to the interfaces of the customary payments terminals and with the help of the remote control can make simple bank transactions. Belinvestbank has become the first bank in the payment service ZALA. In the near future there will be new partners: Belarusbank, Belagroprombank and BPS-bank, as well as the company "Web-pay".

To pay for services using bank cards it is necessary to register in the bank system (for example in an info kiosk), indicating the mobile phone number. After entering on the TV-screen registered phone number, the bank system generates a password and sends it to the registered phone number in form of SMS. Client gets access to the bank system and makes all the necessary payments – as working in the customary info kiosk, but do it at home. In addition in near future using TV-banking ZALA and byfly subscribers can pay for these services by means of express-payment cards of "Beltelecom".

Expanding its interactive functionality, ZALA television opens new possibilities to its subscribers, helping to solve everyday tasks faster and easier.
