OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2011. Within organization of Azerbaijan Rural Investment Project (AzRIP),financed by World Bank III National Community Investment Conference is being held in Baku.

Today at the conference MP Govhar Bakhshaliyeva has claimed that main problem for the country’s rural areas’ social and economic development are roads.

Water supply is  still problematic as well. In this connection we back expansion of AzRIP realization of which in my region (Barda region ) has already given positive results. I think that it is necessary to develop the project further ",- Bakhshaliyeva said.

The conference attended by over 500 participants of AzRIP community network will aim at development of community partnership and creation of cooperation mechanism between communities and potential donors, transfer of experience including community investments in social environment , technical aspects of activity. Also there will be discussed communities’ investment needs and possibilities of increase of rural investments’ quality.
