OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2011. The Bank of East Asia (“BEA”) announces its participation as a pilot bank in the Reverse Mortgage Programme (the “Programme”) introduced by The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited (“HKMC”), reported the press-centre of BEA.

Mr. Adrian Li, Deputy Chief Executive of BEA, served as the Bank’s signatory at the signing ceremony held today by the HKMC. Other representatives of the Bank included Mr. Simon Lau, General Manager & Head of Personal Banking Division and Mr. Kenneth Tsin, Head of Property Loans Department.

“We are pleased to announce BEA’s participation in the Reverse Mortgage Programme as a pilot bank,” said Mr. Li. “We fully support the Programme, which provides eligible homeowners with a ready source of additional funds to meet their ongoing financial needs,” he added.
