OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2011. Prime Minister Vlad Filat chaired a cabinet meeting, the government's communications and press relations department has said.

At the beginning of the meeting, the prime minister asked Agriculture and Food minister Vasile Bumacov and Finance Minister Veaceslav Negruta to speed up procedures on the implementation of a project on the reorganization of the vine-growing and wine-making sectors, carried out with the support of the European Investment Bank (EIB).

At the today's meeting, the government ruled to issue 1,150 tons of food wheat from the state material reserves to supply the bakeries. The enterprises will be obliged to use the wheat to provide the residents with bread and will have to return it to the state till 1 September 2012.

Also today, the cabinet members disapproved a draft law on the amendment of an annex to the law No 668-XIII from 23 November 1995 for the approval of a list of units the farmlands of which remained state-run.

The ministers changed the annex No 1 to the government decision No 126 from 7 February 2007on the nominal composition of the national commission for population and development and its regulation. Thus, the commission's composition was completed with new members, partners to implement demographic policies, representatives of local public administration authorities, put up by the Congress of Local Public Authorities, as well as people who have been recently nominated to leadership posts of the central public administration authorities.
