OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2011. The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a workshop on Organization and Maintenance of Expertise of Currency to increase theoretical and practical knowledge of the employees of “Azerpoct” LLC who deliver financial services, reported the press-centre of CBA.

The participants were informed on the philosophy and elements of protection of the national currency – manat which was followed by a discussion of the order of acceptance of unfit currency from the population and its expertise and exchange. It was mentioned that acceptance of currency from the population and its exchange should be provided on the basis of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Regulations of the Central Bank on Organization and Maintenance of Expertise of Money in the Banking System.

The workshop ended with a question-answer session that was answered by the representatives of Cash Operations Department of the Central Bank and Azerpoct LLC and a skills building session.
