Uralkali Announces 1H 2011 Production Results
OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2011. Uralkali (LSE: URKA) has today announced its production results for the six months ended 31 June 2011. Over that period Uralkali produced 3.1 million tonnes* of potassium chloride (KCl), which is 29% higher than Uralkali’s production in H1 2010.

In H1 2011 Uralkali and Silvinit produced approximately 5.2 million tonnes, an increase of 4% of the combined output of Uralkali and Silvinit on the corresponding period of 2010.

Uralkali and Silvinit completed their combination in Q2 2011 creating one of the world’s largest potash producers by output and production capacity.
