OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2011. According to the factual data the volume of oil transportation through the network of main oil pipelines of JSC “KazTransOil” in January - June 2011 was equal to 27 million 255 thou. tons. Comparing to the same period of 2010 the volume of oil transportation increased by 1 million 306 thou. tons, or by 5% (fact for January - June of 2010 was equal to 25 million 949 thou. tons).

The cargo turnover through the network of main oil pipelines of JSC “KazTransOil” in the first half-year of 2011 was equal to 17 billion 692 million tons per km. Relatively to the same period of the last year the given indicator increased by 1 billion 65 million tons per km or by 6% (fact for January - June of 2010 comprised 16 billion 628 million tons km).

Within the indicated period of current year growth of oil throughput volumes via “Atyrau-Samara” section of "Uzen-Atyrau-Samara" main oil pipeline is noted – 8 million 47 thou. tons, which is 756 thou. tons or by 10% more than in January - June of 2010 (fact for the first half year of 2010 comprised 7 million 291 thou. tons of oil). Growth trend of transportation volumes of hydrocarbons is kept in direction of CPR – in January - June of current year volume of oil throughput in “Atasu-Alashankou” reached the level of 5 million 752 thou. tons of oil, which exceeds the indicator of the same period of 2010 by 785 thou. tons, or 16% (fact for January - June of 2010 was equal to 4 million 967 thou. tons).

Transit of Russian oil via the section of "TON-2", located on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was equal to 2 million 938 thou. tons of oil, the increase by 170 thou. tons or 6%.

Crude transportation through the network of main pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan comprised 6 million 180 thou. tons. Supplies were increased in the direction towards Atyrau refinery and towards Petro Kazakhstan Oil Products – 1 mkn. 878 thou. tons and 2 mln. 273 thou.tons correspondingly, which is more than in 2010 for 5%.

JSC "KazTransOil" carries out supply of Volga water to consumers of Atyrau and Mangistau oblasts of Kazakhstan via Astrahan-Mangyshklak waterline. In January - June of current year, the volume of water supply was equal to 10 million 127 thou. cubic meters, and in comparison with the same period of 2010, the volume has increased by 478 thou. cubic meters or by 5%.
