OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2011. Open Joint Stock Company "Ukrtransnafta" (Kiev) has selected National Joint-Stock Insurance Company Oranta as the provider of the risk insurance services in 2011.

One of the insured risks under the contract is the compulsory insurance

liability of business entities from the possible damage caused by fires or accidents of high risk, including fire and explosive objects. It also covers the facilities whose economic activities can lead to the accidents of environmental and sanitary-epidemiological profile. Also, Oranta insured the voluntary responsibility of the Vessel Owners (including the carrier's liability).

Open Joint Stock Company "Ukrtransnafta" is the system operator of the main oil pipelines in Ukraine, and the second largest in Europe - was established in 2001 on the basis of the governmentally owned Main Oil Pipelines "Druzhba" and governmentally owned "Prydniprovsky oil pipelines" (in current time a branch of the Company) with the purpose to optimize the Ukrainian oil transportation system and the introduction of a common policy in this area. Oranta successfully cooperates with the JSC "Ukrtransnafta" since 2008.
