OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2011. June 1st is marked on the calendar as the International Children's Day. On this occasion it is worth noting that children that need the protection the most are the orphans. Oranta always takes a good care of the orphaned children at the orphanage of the same name in Drogobych, patronized by the Company.

This coming weekend the company is to arrange the charity event for the children from the “Oranta” orphanage in Drogobych (Lviv region), which is taken care by the company since 2004. The children will be provided with a guided tour of Lviv and the cultural entertainment program at the new venue of Lviv.

The head office of Oranta in Kiev transferred to the account of the orphanage the amount required for the organization of the trip. The representatives of the Lviv Regional Directorate of Oranta will take care of all organizational aspects.

The agenda features children’s visit to the main attractions of Lviv including the skating rink, modern playgrounds and a 3D cinema. 28 children from the Oranta orphanage aged 4 to 15 years will participate in this cultural trip.

"Those meager funds which the State allocates for the children's orphanages in our country, can not meet even the basic needs of the children. I personally visit this orphanage for the last three years, and we try to help with the best we can by providing furniture, appliances, clothing and food, as well as by organizing the festivals and cultural programs for the kids. Children are our future and there’s no such thing as “nobody’s” children", - said Iryna Kleban, the director of the Lviv regional Directorate of Oranta.
