OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2011. State owned enterprise "The Production Association of the Southern Machine-Building Plant named after A.Makarov" (Dnepropetrovsk) has chosen Oranta as an insurer to provide the insurance of the aviation crafts VS IL-76 (hull number 78 786) belonging to "Yuzmashavia." The total of six insurance companies, including the major players in the aviation insurance market, participated in the procurement auction.

"I believe that the choice of the "Yuzhmash" management is well justified, as the high quality of our services corresponds with the realities of modern insurance. Unfortunately, in conditions of severe competition and dumping on the market of corporate insurance, the brand name alone, even such powerful brand name as Oranta is not enough. To win this procurement auction we had to do a serious homework. Because of our tenacity, flexibility and efficiency of decision-making, Oranta’s insurance proposal has been accepted even despite the fact that "Yuzhmash" had previously worked with the other insurance partners for the last three to five years", - commented on the results of the auction Mr. Valentine Krasnikov, Acting Director of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Directorate of Oranta.

According to Mr. Krasnikov, the insurance conditions have been calculated after the thorough research of all possible risks and, therefore, ensure prompt payment of compensation in case the insured event. At the request of the client in the coverage of risks included a number of dangerous areas, including the regular flights to Afghanistan. "Customer’s choice once emphasized on the reliability of our company," – commented Mr. Krasikov.

The total value of the contract amounted to UAH 52.5 thousand. In future, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Directorate of Oranta plans to maximize and consolidate the cooperation with the State Enterprise Machine-Building Plant.
