The UX swung back into the positive yesterday, rising 1.77% to 2,339.14. Total equity turnover was UAH 209.3 mln. The top stocks by volume were again Alchevsk Iron & Steel (ALMK UK), up 5.03% on UAH 33.9 mln in turnover and Motor Sich (MSICH UK), up 0.80% on UAH 17.4 mln. Among blue chips, the session’s best performers were Ukrsotsbank (USCB UK), up 7.58%; Alchevsk Iron & Steel; and Raiffeisen Bank Aval (BAVL UK), up 4.20%. The only blue chip to post a loss yesterday was Ukrnafta (UNAF UK), which dropped 0.24%.
