OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2011. Absolut Bank ranked 8th among banks in profit. According to the research “Top 500 profitable banks in Q1 2011” by the RBC Rating news agency, as of 1 April 2011 the Bank’s profit amounted to RUB 2.59 bn.

Absolut Bank’s successful performance is also confirmed by numerous ratings. According to research by Banki.ru, Absolut Bank ranked 7th place among credit institutions in net profit as of early April 2011 in Moscow and Moscow Region, and 8th in net profit among credit institutions of Russia.

Previously the National Rating Agency and Profile magazine ranked Absolut Bank 27th among the most profitable banks based on February 2011 performance. The Bank’s profit was RUB 361.5 m then.
