OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2011. The 16th Belarusian Energy and Ecology Forum, an exhibition and a congress “Energy. Ecology. Energy Efficiency” will be held in Minsk on 11-14 October 2011.

An organizing committee was set up to gear up for the 16th Belarusian Energy and Ecology Forum. Belarusian Energy Minister Alexander Ozerets will be the chairman of the committee.

The forum will focus on latest achievements in energy, energy saving, electronics, environmental protection.

Energy Expo was first held in 1995. It traditionally draws the attention of leading international and domestic manufacturers of hardware, technologies and materials for the energy sector, environmental protection, energy saving and electrical engineering.

Partaking in the forum will be over 300 companies and organizations, namely the Energy Ministry, Industry Ministry, State Committee for Science and Technology, Energy Efficiency Department of the State Committee for Standardization, etc. The forum will also welcome such foreign companies as ABB, Siemens, Caterpillar, АО FILTER office in Belarus, the embassy of Belarus in Poland and others.

The forum will help analyze the development of the national economy, focus on the most urgent issues, facilitate the introduction of new technologies.
