OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2011. The First vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade Andriy Klyuyev has held the meeting on the introduction in Ukraine of system of state information provision.

During the meeting officials was discussed a project of creation Information and Analytical Center of the Government of Ukraine and its possibilities. By means of such center it is possible to spend monitoring of the basic social and economic indices of progress of the state for acceptance of effective administrative decisions. Besides on the basis of the data received by means of system of information supply, it is possible to develop macroeconomic, branch, regional models of progress of Ukraine.

As participants of meeting have emphasized, the basic sources of the information become statistical data and system of space monitoring which will deliver the information to the so-called Analytical center.

Considerable opportunities of space monitoring by means of which it will be possible to receive a clear and objective picture about a condition of any object in territory of Ukraine and dynamics of variation of a situation on them have been especially noted. Space "measurements" give a guarantee of authenticity of such information.

Space monitoring can be used in agriculture, preservation of the environment, mining industry, forestry, water and oil-and-gas industry, for management of a transport infrastructure, municipal economy or monitoring of emergencies.

By means of the state information supply system it is possible to track a condition of reserve zones or national parks, to reveal illegal felling of woods or not authorized buildings of territories, oil pollution, spontaneous dumps, to supervise behind a condition of ranges of industrial wastes and other infringements or emergencies.

So, for example, by means of space monitoring in the field of agriculture it is possible to predict productivity with accuracy of 90 %, to check use of lands of agricultural purpose, as well as regularly to observe of a condition of soil.

The similar system of a supply with information is powerfully used in 32 countries of the world.
Andriy Klyuyev charged to the members of the Government participated in meeting, in detail to work the requirement to such system on each of the branches, existing offers and to submit the offers on prospects of introduction in Ukraine system of the state supply with information.
