OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2011. Bugulma Mechanical Plant (BMZ), part of TATNEFT structure, has successfully mastered the production of new large-size equipment – absorber, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The stabilizer weighing 18 tons and 28 meters long was manufactured in accordance with the program for mastering new types of large-capacity equipment production. Preparation of housing components and their calibration was performed at the assembly area, welding of all longitudinal, circumferential joints was done at the up-to-date "ESAB" welding center, while the assembly as such was carried out at the site of large-capacity equipment.

The plant has manufactured such powerful equipment for the first time. The earlier vessels had smaller dimensions: 14 meters.

The large-size product has been successfully delivered in time to "Ufaneftekhim."

At present, development and manufacture of large-size products is continued at BMZ: negotiations are in progress with "Peton" about joint supply to "Ufaneftekhim" of two more towers weighing over 80 tons and 68 meters long.
