OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2011. National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia's only settlement depository servicing the full range of debt and equity securities of Russian issuers, reports that it launched the Depository Information Service Center (DISC NSD) today. The new version of the system is available at the company's web site (www.nsd.ru). In comparison with the earlier beta-version it includes expanded functional features such as new section "Calendars" reflecting a corporate actions calendar and a calendar of events to be carried out by the issuers. In the course of the system's fine tuning NSD took the users' suggestions to include detailed description of the corporate actions into consideration.

DISK NSD was developed to provide information about securities serviced by NSD, issuers, registrars and authorized depositories. The system's data are represented by interrelated modules and units: Securities, Organizations, and Calendars.

The next stage of the system development is to include:
placement of information messages linked to financial instruments, issuers, corporate actions, other documents;
placement of scanned versions of issue documents linked to financial instruments, documents related to corporate actions including shareholders meetings;
placement of users' personal accounts.
