OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2011. The Belarusian Economy Ministry on July 3 increased the price of excise stamps for alcoholic products 70% to 100 Belarusian rubles (Br) and cigarettes 75% to 70 rubles, under resolution #98 of the ministry dated June 29.

The price of stamps used to remark beverages with damaged stamps stands at 100 rubles.

The main reason behind the increase is the change in the cost of stamp production, the ministry said in a comment.
