OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2011. President of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) K. Damitov met up with president of the London Stock Exchange (LSE) Mr. Xavier Rolet in Astana, reported the press-centre of KASE.

During the meeting presidents of KASE and LSE discussed issues regarding the legal framework for the financial sector in Kazakhstan, as well as prospects of co-operation in the field of development of the stock market infrastructure in Kazakhstan.

The parties agreed that they were ready to continue the co-operation and consider opportunities of implementing new projects aimed at development of the stock market in Kazakhstan and bringing of KASE operations in tune with international standards.
