OREANDA-NEWS. July 12, 2011. It is temporarily banned to import to Ukraine from EU some products of plant origin without an official document of studies on bacteria Escherichia coli group.

Among these products are: potatoes, tomatoes, onions, cabbage, carrots, beets, cucumbers, beans and others. This document should be given by the competent authority of the exporting country or vegetables should be probed at the state laboratory of veterinary medicine.

This decision was approved by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Main State Inspectorate for Plant Quarantine to prevent the importation into Ukraine of dangerous products of plant origin.
