In accordance with the resolution of the shareholder Allianz SE and management of OJSC IC ROSNO, the Sales Sector will be headed by the first Deputy CEO/COO of ROSNO Mr. Dmitry Popov. Mr. Popov agreed to perform the functions of the Sales Director on a temporary basis until the end of 2011, combining them with his principal responsibilities. Previously, this position was held by Mr. Elnur Suleimanov, who decided to pursue his career outside ROSNO, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Due to his new appointment, Dmitry Popov has been tasked to develop and support the company’s sales. Soon he will delegate some of his extended powers to several of his direct subordinates.

ROSNO management made this decision on the basis of Mr. Popov’s expertise and qualification. He has been working for the company since 1995. He was the senior specialist of the Life Insurance Department, head of division, Director of the Life Insurance Centre, and Director of the Motor Insurance Centre. He was promoted to Deputy CEO of ROSNO in 2006. Today, Dmitry Popov represents the company’s interests in the Board of the Russian Union of Insurers, and he also holds membership in the Presidiums and Boards of the Russian Union of Motor Insurers and National Union of Liability Insurers.
