OREANDA-NEWS. July 11, 2011. The National Bank of Moldova’s monetary reserves in the first half of 2011 increased by USD 183.79 million (10.7 percent). As of June 30, 2011, the NBM’s monetary reserves totaled USD 1,901.48 million, as of December 31, 2010 - USD 1,717.69 million, having increased by 16% for the last year, it was informed at the National Bank.

The absolute historical record of the NBM’s monetary reserves totaled USD 1,922.7 million and was registered on June 10, 2011, however the following weeks the monetary reserves reduced.
