OREANDA-NEWS. July 11, 2011. The Government consistently works on simplification of the lives of citizens and business - the President of Ukraine requires it every day. The clearest example is the law on the abolition of the vehicle inspection, non-commercial use. This was declared by the First vice-prime minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev.

As he said, the initiative of the President of Ukraine on significant simplification of regulation of area of automobile transportations became ripe for a long time. Apparently, that the out-of-date formal procedure at all did not stimulate an owner of a car to contain it in a serviceable condition, Andrey Klyuyev declared. The First vice Premier of Ukraine noted that it was eliminated other outdated requirements, such as the mandatory presence of notarially verified power of attorney for driving.

Procedures of reception of these documents took time and money from our drivers, really not carrying out those problems for which they had been once created – for example, practically not influencing on a security on roads, Andriy Klyuyev declared.

He also noted, that owners of cars until recently had received lion's share of coupons on passage of check-up of the vehicle inspection formally. As a matter of fact, it was mass participation of citizens in corruption schemes, the First vice Prime Minister emphasized. "By assessments of experts, annually citizens of our country gave on such "unofficial solution to the problem" up to billion UAH. It is important to eliminate gradually conditions and ability to operate such large-scale corruption schemes", - Andriy Klyuyev said.

At the same time, control over technical condition of "commercial" vehicles, especially those carrying passengers, had to be more efficient, said the First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine. Therefore, he said, now the Cabinet of Ministers had the task to register quality procedures to prevent the emergence of new corruption mechanisms.

"It is very important for the President and government leaders. The Cabinet Ministers at almost every meeting deals with matters relating to removal of unnecessary administrative barriers and deregulation of a particular economic sector", - said Andriy Klyuyev.
