OREANDA-NEWS. July 08, 2011. Within the framework of the investment programme realization the Integrated Energy Systems (IES)-Holding will purchase from PJSC “EMAlliance” 5 Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) for new power units. The total value of the contracts concluded as a result of open competitive negotiations amounts to 2.5 billion rubles. The contract terms and conditions provide the technical documentation development, complete equipment production and its delivery, erection supervision and carrying out pre-commissioning.

HRSGs will be part of the new Combined Cycle Plants (CCP) at Permskaya TETs-9, Kirovskaya TETs-3, Izhevskaya TETs -1, Novobogoslovskaya TETs and Vladimirskaya TETs -2. Boilers of this type use (recycle) thermal exhaust of the gas turbine for steam generation which enters after that the steam turbine or is used for industrial ends. This technology provides high efficiency of the Combined Cycle Plant.

Within the framework of Permskaya TETs-9 reconstruction project EMAlliance will manufacture a HRSG with a special afterburning system which at present does not have any analogy on the Russian market. Application of this technology will provide stable steam parameters produced by the HRSG in all operating modes of the gas turbine and will allow to use natural gas more effectively than while burning in traditional steam boilers.

The HRSG design works will be carried out by specialists of Engineering Division of EMAlliance - BSDB BP (Barnaul) and EMAlliance Engineering Division (Taganrog). Besides, NOOTER/ERIKSEN, INC (USA) under licence of which PJSC EMAlliance supplies HRSGs will participate in the designing. The total number of HRSGs supplied by EMAlliance to the Russian market during the last 3 years will reach 23 units, and the unit capacity of power units of the Combined Cycle Plants with the HRSGs supplied by EMAlliance will amount to more than 6 GW.

Manufacture of the main equipment for capital projects of IES-Holding will be concentrated at PJSC TKZ Krasny Kotelshchik - constituent part of JSC EMAlliance. Part of the equipment will be manufactured at Duro Dacovic - belonging to PJSC EMAlliance since 2011 - the largest site in Europe where boiler and heat-exchange equipment is manufactured.

Earlier there was accomplished a purchase of turbine generators, gas turbines and steam turbines. It is scheduled to put the above power units with total capacity of 1075 MW into operation during the years 2012-2014.” – the First Deputy General Director of CJSC “IES” Andrey Vagner says.

IES-Holding completes the scale programme of new generating capacities construction in 9 regions of Russian Federation: Kirovskaya Region, Republic of Udmurtia, Chuvash Republic, Perm Territory, Sverdlovskaya, Nizhegorodskaya, Vladimirskaya, Orenburgskaya, and Samarskaya Regions. It includes 16 projects with capacity from 10 to 460 MW which are to be accomplished till 2017.
