OREANDA-NEWS. July 08, 2011. "Zavolzhsky motorny zavod" (a branch of "SOLLERS") for 1st half year of 2011 decreased quantity of claims by 39% in comparison with 1st half year of 2010 and increased production volumes by 22% .

Improvement of indexes on claim direction allowed to get profit from costs decrease on guarantee maintenance in size of 2, 6 Mln RUR.

 Besides, level of engine defectiveness level revealed in OEM (UAZ, PAZ) was decreased on fact of 1st half year of 2010 by 53%. Level of defectness revealed in local testing benches was decreased by 37% .

 Development and introduction of activities in frames of process approach in Quality management according to requirements of international automotive standard ISO/TS 16 949, according to which ZMZ management system was certified, lead to achievement of good results.

 Simultaneously ZMZ continues to increase production volumes.

In first half year 2011 our plant produced 37 080 engines of all modifications – by 22% more than fact of 1st half year 2010.

 Main volume of supplies refer to UAZ : for UAZ purchase orders more than 27 K engines have been shipped – by 34% more, than in 1st half year of last year.

 There is also increase of demand in aftermarket. On purchase order from dealers 7 787 engines have been sold - by 17% more than fact of 1st half year 2010.

 Volumes of purchase orders from PAZ and GAZ have decreased relative to 1st half year 2010, by 7% and 23%. 1 917 engines have been supplied to PAZ, 623 engines have been supplied to GAZ.

 It is necessary to note that ZMZ direct labor productivity in 1st half year 2011 has been increase by 31% (in standard hour) in comparison with level of analogous period of last year.
