China COSCO successfully passed the on-site audit and certification on its quality, environment and occupational health and safety management system conducted by the Management System Auditing Team of the China Classification Society, reported the press-centre of COSCO.

The comprehensive system certification on China COSCO is conducted in accordance with the 2008 version of GB/T19000 idt ISO9000:2005 quality management system standards, the 2004 version of GB/T24000 idt ISO14000:2004 environmental management system standards, the GB/T28001-2001 idt OHSAS18000 occupational health and safety management system, ISO1779 9/ISO27001 information safety management system, and in combination with the Basic Principles for Internal Control of Enterprises and auxiliary guidance issued by five ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Finance, the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the National Audit Office, the China Banking Regulatory Commission and the China Insurance Regulatory Commission.

Successfully passing the audit and certification will further promote China COSCO to implement the Basic Principles for Internal Control of Enterprises issued by five ministries and commissions and auxiliary policies, and will help to elevate related parties' recognition on China COSCO's comprehensive management system and internal control system, protect interests of investors and stakeholders and enhance the capital market's confidence to China COSCO.
