OREANDA-NEWS. July 07, 2011. The First vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev reminded the leaders of regional authorities on the need to repay debts for gas. He said this during the session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

"I ask the leaders to take steps to eliminate debt", - Andrey Klyuyev said.

"For six months, enterprises of municipal thermal energetic consumed natural gas worth almost 9.0 billion UAH. Paid total - 6.8 billion UAH including the current consumption - 5.8 billion UAH" - the First vice Prime Minister noted.

As he said, the average level of settlements in Ukraine today was 65%.

Extremely poor estimates for gas consumption since the beginning of this year in the following regions: Zakarpattya region (25%), Luhansk (47%), Donetsk (51%), Sevastopol (40%) and ARC (49%) Andriy Klyuyev reported.

According to him, the debt for the current year is over 3 billion.
