Ukraine First Vice PM Commissioned to Provide Fuel for Agriculture
OREANDA-NEWS. July 07, 2011. The First vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev instructed authorities of Crimea and other regions where there is insufficient supply of fuel for agricultural works, together with the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry and "Naftogaz Ukraine" to the end of the week to resolve this issue and report back. This, he said, opening the session of the Cabinet Ministers of Ukraine.
Technological needs of farmers during harvesting of early grain and leguminous plants were over 470 thousand tons of diesel fuel and 137 tons of gasoline, said Andriy Klyuyev.
He said that as of July 5, 2011 farmers have accumulated 343 thousand tons of diesel fuel - 73% of the need to harvest and 97 tons of gasoline (71%), which is 2% more than last year.
Andriy Klyuyev said that the worst was provided with fuel ARC (29% diesel and 42% gasoline), the best - Dnipropetrovsk (90% and 87%), Zakarpattya (89% and 83%) and Kherson (85% and 82%) regions.
