OREANDA-NEWS. July 07, 2011. SC Klaipedos Nafta has signed an Agreement with the Lead Advisor for preparation and implementation of liquefied natural gas terminal’s project – the international company FLUOR.

The Agreement provides for the Lead Advisor to work together for four years and perform such tasks as – preparation of the technical development plan of the Project, assistance in selection of technologies, performance of actions in order to get obligatory permits, solution of the matters related to the safety of the project, navigation as well as other issues associated with the technical implementation of the Project.

Simultaneously the Adviser will perform works related to the economic part – will produce business model of the Terminal, financial model and develop strategy of the Terminal’s performance. The Consultant will also supervise technical realization of the Project and participate during the entire execution period of the Project until the very start of the Terminal’s activities - up to the year 2014.

The concluded Agreement will be presented to the Management Board and Shareholders meeting of SC Klaipedos Nafta for the approval.
