OREANDA-NEWS. July 06, 2011. Mr. Xiang Junbo, Chairman of Agricultural Bank of China Limited (ABC), and Mr. Gregory Wang, Chairman of Cathay United Bank Co., Ltd., signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for cooperation on behalf of their respective banks, reported the press-centre of ABC.

Mr. Cai Hongtu, Chairman of Cathay Financial Holdings, also attended the signing ceremony. According to the MOU, the two sides will enter into broad cooperation in corporate banking, investment banking, treasury operations, trade finance, cross-border RMB settlement, credit card, wealth management, e-Banking, bancassurance, information exchange and personnel training.

The MOU helps to promote trade relations and financial cooperation across the Taiwan Strait, enhance ABC financial services to Taiwan customers and further tap into the Taiwan market.
