OREANDA-NEWS. July 05, 2011. Ukraine should not delay with the adoption of the pension reform, as the other solution of problems of the pension system we have not. This is the only way the government can guarantee the payment of pensions and their increase in the future, vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Social Policy Serhiy Tigipko assured.

According to the official, a bill on the pension reform is necessary to adopt at this session of Parliament, by the end of the week. "I believe that the project will be voted as a whole, the decision now in the hands of MPs. Of course, we have talks with them, persuade them, talk about Ukraine's prospects for the future. This is not easy work, but now it's time to make difficult decisions", - vice Prime Minister said this on the air for the ICTV TV channel.

Serhiy Tigipko added that as a result of finalization of the document after the first reading members of Parliament were made about a thousand amendments.
