OREANDA-NEWS. Starting from 5 September 2011, Estonian Air will operate direct flights between Tallinn and Trondheim. The flight schedule enables to offer convenient connections for business and leisure travelers to and from Norwegian third biggest town, reported the press-centre of Estonian Air.

“”My Estonian Air” was launched in early June to allow our customers to influence on Estonian Air’s future strategy and network. Very many of them stressed the importance of increasing the number of direct air links to Scandinavian cities,” explained the background of adding the new destination Rauno Parras, Vice President Commercial of Estonian Air.

“The project "My Estonian Air" allows our customers, partners and employees to shape, among other things, our services and brand development. This can be done on our website or through our social media channels,” added Parras.

Trondheim, which used to be the nation's first capital, was founded by Viking King Olav Tryggvason in AD 997. The city is a regionally important centre for culture, industry and commerce, and an important education and research centre.

Estonian Air flights to Trondheim will be operated five times a week: on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The Trondheim-Tallinn route creates good connecting flights for travelers from Scandinavia to Russia, Ukraine and Lithuania.

Tallinn-Trondheim route creates good connections via Trondheim to Bronnoysund, Mosjoen, Bodo, Namsos and Rorvik.
