OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2011. A public discussion of the project of Rosatom State Corporation public report for 2010 was held in Moscow.

The project of the document had been developed in compliance with international standards of corporate reporting (Guidelines for reporting on sustainable development of Global Reporting Initiative, standards of АА1000 Institute of Social and Ethical Accountability series ) and also with the consideration of the recommendations of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

The project, presented for discussion, reflected the main production and financial and economical results of Rosatom activity for 2010, and the results of its activity in the field of sustainable development (its economic, ecologic and social influence) as well.

The report is being prepared by Rosatom voluntary proceeding and is addressed to a wide circle of the interested parties.

When preparing the report for the sake of improvement of transparency and accounting Rosatom State Corporation carried out a number of dialogues with the interested parties on socially important topics. Thus, on April 14, 2011, disclosure of the information about Rosatom State Corporation in the field of sustainable development in its report was discussed in Moscow, and on April 28 disclosure of the information about Rosatom contribution into social and economic development of the presence territories in the report was discussed in Novouralsk.

Representatives of federal and regional governmental bodies, expert, business and scientific communities, social, including ecologic communities and organizations-partners of Rosatom and its branches took part in the project discussion.

According to the results of the public discussions a number of amendments and supplements, considering the requirements to information disclosure of the interested parties’ representatives will be introduced into the report project.
